Dietary Services Manager
The Dietary Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management. This role ensures compliance with health and safety standards, while delivering exceptional dining experiences that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and oversee menus that are nutritious, appealing, and compliant with state and federal regulations.

Supervise, schedule, and train dietary staff to maintain high standards of service and food safety.

Manage inventory, ordering, and budget for the dietary department.

Ensure compliance with sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards.

Collaborate with nursing and care staff to address residents’ dietary needs and restrictions.

Foster a positive dining atmosphere that promotes resident satisfaction and engagement.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulations and facility policy.

Lead by example to create a culture of teamwork, respect, and resident-focused service.
Qualifications

Previous experience in food service management, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or a similar setting.

Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and food safety regulations.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
